Start Training

Starting a fitness program may be one of the best things you can do for your health. Physical activity can reduce your risk of chronic disease, improve your balance and coordination, help you lose weight — even improve your sleep habits and self-esteem. But of course one of the hardest things to do it to decide on the type of training for you, to find the correct training venue that fits your needs and to get STARTED!

A few things that should come into mind when deciding on where to go and what to do:

  • How often will I be able to train and would set hours not work for me?
  • Can I push myself enough to train alone?
  • Will I know what to do whilst I am training if I am alone?
  • Would I enjoy the company of others to train with?
  • Would I prefer to be outside in the fresh air?
  • Do I need to have a set time and place to make me accountable?
